What Are Enrichment Programs and Their Benefits?
One important part of our day here at TBE is our enrichment classes. These classes
run Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Enrichment programs are activities
that stimulate children’s minds, encourage them to be creative, and nurture their
natural talents and other abilities. Just this year alone, 85 % of our students attended
these classes consisting of: Gymnastics taught by Ms. Gina; Ballet taught by Ms. Joy;
Yoga taught by Ms. Veronica; STEM taught by Ms. Mayda; and Cooking taught by Ms.
Clara.
Enrichment classes provide opportunities for children to discover and encourage their
natural talents and passions. Families looking to support their children’s holistic growth
will also benefit from our enrichment classes by focusing on ALL aspects of their child’s
development, not just their academic advancements.
As we all know, some children possess more creative gifts. They can use our
enrichment programs to nurture and take their gifts and passions to the next level. On
the other hand, children yet to find their passions can discover new interests with these
classes.
There are many benefits of having your child enrolled in our enrichment classes.
Enrichment classes connect children that would otherwise not work or play together.
They also expose children to different teachers and teaching styles. Offering these
enrichment programs is also convenient for families since they don’t have to enroll their
children elsewhere for extracurricular activities. It helps them save on the cost and time
they’d spend looking for relevant programs elsewhere. In addition, families can have
peace of mind knowing that their child’s educational, recreational, and social needs are
all in the same hands of the school they trust.
The bottom line is that enrichment programs go a long way in supporting children to
reach their fullest developmental potential. They also boost children’s confidence and
self-esteem and increase interest in learning by offering a variety of learning
opportunities. Adding these enrichment activities to our center strengthens our
preschool program and adds meaningful value to the children and families in our
community.
