Winter ‘25/Spring ‘25
I am so very happy to have the opportunity to write this one last time as President before I complete my term and welcome our incoming President and new Board of Trustees for 2025-2026.
It has truly been one of the great honors of my life to serve as President of Temple Beth El for the last three years, a culmination of my membership and my service to the temple and congregation I have loved so much for over 23 years. But most definitely, this is not the end for me.
As Immediate Past President, I will continue to serve on our Board and Executive Committee. We will continue to see each other at Shabbat services on Friday nights and all of the other services, events, and special occasions that I enjoy and hope you do too.
I’m looking forward to Cantor Manny’s Silver Anniversary concert and celebration, Mitzvah Day, more 2nd Saturday/Shabbatstock services, our Passover Community Seder, Klezmer Shabbat, Sisterhood meetings, Preschool graduation, and Confirmation. Others I know are looking forward to Women’s Spirituality Group, Book Club, and Brotherhood meetings – all coming this spring.
Check out the calendar on our website; visit our Facebook page; get on our email list to receive Trending, our weekly email. Then you can join us, get involved in temple life.
Our Temple Beth El can and should be a centerpiece of the Jewish community of south Florida. It can and should be the place you want to come to and bring your family and friends to for good times and for bad, the place where our shared experiences bring us closer together.
I look forward to many years ahead with my Temple Beth El family. I hope to maintain the relationships I’ve developed and I hope to grow new ones in the years to come. I am thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given and the blessings I’ve received.
L’Shalom,
Sha :)
